PRODUCT & UX/UI DESIGNER
I am Vytautas Ramanauskas.
Lead Product designer, currently shaping user-centered experiences at TransferGo.
I specialize in balancing user needs with business objectives to craft products that are not only functional but also delightful. My multidisciplinary background provides a unique perspective, allowing me to approach design challenges with a blend of creativity, empathy, and business pragmatism.
After earning my law degree from Vilnius University, I honed skills in observation, collaboration, and critical thinking during four years in the legal field. Transitioning into digital marketing and product design, I spent 2.5 years deepening my understanding of user behavior and business dynamics. This diverse experience underpins my belief that a multidisciplinary skill set is essential for designing impactful products.
I’ve led and contributed to projects that generated additional revenue (in some cases, $1M+), improved user satisfaction, and streamlined workflows.
Currently, as Lead Product Designer at TransferGo, I leverage a sound knowledge of design principles and a keen eye for aesthetics to shape innovative financial services that empower migrants across Europe.
For me, the design is optimistic. It brings new things into the world. We, as designers, take on problems, model them, frame them, and create responses through the distribution of material, real or virtual, in space.
I believe optimism is the only way forward—not the naive kind that avoids confronting challenges or hides flaws behind aesthetics, nor the superficial claim of “making people’s lives better.” Instead, it’s about a pragmatic optimism that addresses what’s not working and takes meaningful action to create real, impactful solutions.
I call it “pragmatic optimism”—a mindset grounded in tangible action, transforming frustration into motivation to build better solutions and drive meaningful change.
